Our Vision
The company was started in 2000, when India was beginning to influence the world of fashion. But there was a major drawback in the Indian fashion scene - mannequins. The ones displayed in store windows were stilted, stylized, rigid and lifeless. In short, they looked like "dummies," and very far from the glamor and beauty of the fashion runways. Extensive experience in window design had given Dhaval Phadke, the founder, an awareness of the void that existed between the catwalk and the store windows. He wanted to fill that gap. With the inception of the company, he was able to create a whole new generation of display mannequins, and finally bring the fashion catwalk to store windows. Then onwards, showrooms like Provogue, Little Lacy and Thomas Scott have been an integral part of the international fashion scene and the store window displays, thanks to Omkaar Studio.
Products
Our range of Mannequins would help in the implementation of effective design ideas to increase store traffic and sales volume. It is an effective tool to achieve sales and other targets, a tool to enhance merchandise on the floor, and a mechanism to communicate to a customer and influence his decision to buy. Our Team of Professionals
We have a core of professionals who are the best in the visual merchandising industry, thereby becoming the soul of our business. At Omkaar Studio, we have the best in-house sculptors, mould makers and technicians to produce all our master mannequins and moulds. Whenever demand is required, we recruit under the direct supervision of our sculptors, sub-contractors/freelancers who have worked with us before. All of our mannequin development is handled in Mumbai due to the level of skill required to ensure that the finished product is correctly sculpted and anatomically correct, as well as be aesthetically pleasing. We can boast that we are one of the few mannequin manufacturers in the country that offers a full custom service to our clients using our own in-house team. This results in quick turnaround, constant control of the development process, a cohesive look for a range of mannequins as the sculptor stays completely focused on one project at a time.
